Ghaziabad's new road will decongest Raj Nagar Extension

A new 1.1km link road is planned to connect the Raj Nagar Extension (RNE) flyover to the Hindon Elevated Road, aiming to alleviate traffic congestion in the area. The Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) will construct the road, costing Rs 42 crore, to improve connectivity for the rapidly growing RNE population. The project will be completed in two phases, with the first stretch 18 meters wide and the second 24 meters wide. The project, expected to be completed by mid-2026, will also involve land acquisition from farmers, with compensation likely set at twice the circle rate, potentially increasing property values in the vicinity.
