German man arrested for lewd act on SWISS flight

A 33-year-old man was arrested on Monday for masturbating during a SWISS Air flight from Zurich to Dresden. The incident occurred about halfway through the 73-minute flight, around 7:40 am, alarming several passengers. A female passenger alerted the cabin crew about the man's behavior. Despite warnings from the staff, it reportedly took multiple requests for him to stop. Upon landing, the Dresden Federal Police took the man into custody. The suspect, identified only as a German national, admitted to the act but claimed he did not realize it was wrong. He is now under investigation for causing a public nuisance. The airline confirmed the incident, calling it an "unusual" violation of good behavior.
