Gerik bus owner tells police about fatal crash

The owner of the bus involved in the fatal Gerik crash, which killed 15 students, has provided a statement to the police. The bus owner gave a statement to police on Tuesday evening, following the Monday accident on the East-West Highway. Authorities have also recorded statements from 18 witnesses, including surviving students. The crash, near Tasik Banding, involved a chartered bus carrying Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris students and a Perodua Alza, also injuring 33 others.
