Geraldine Roman blames Dutertes for Uniteam's collapse

Bataan Rep. Geraldine Roman has blamed the Dutertes for the collapse of the Uniteam alliance, which supported President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and Vice President Sara Duterte. She cited Sara's antagonistic attitude towards Marcos and recent threats against him. Former President Rodrigo Duterte was arrested on an International Criminal Court warrant related to his drug war actions. He was stopped at the airport but later left for The Hague. Marcos stated the arrest was not political and emphasized the government's obligations to Interpol. Roman expressed disappointment over the breakdown of unity, highlighting a lack of respect from Sara Duterte towards Marcos. She noted that the relationship deteriorated despite efforts from Marcos to involve Sara in governance.
