Georgescu supporters protested austerity; a knife was found

Supporters of Calin Georgescu protested austerity measures at the Government building. A knife was found on one demonstrator. Hundreds gathered in Victory Square to protest new fiscal and budgetary measures. Participants chanted slogans against the government and in support of Georgescu. The protest was authorized and took place between 5 PM and 10:30 PM. Gendarmerie found a man with a knife during security checks, leading to legal proceedings.
