Galaxy Z Flip7 and Z Fold7 support 25W charging

Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Z Flip7 and Z Fold7 will not feature faster charging options. Both models have been certified by China’s 3C and will offer a maximum charging speed of 25W. This is similar to previous models, despite the Galaxy A36, which is priced at $400, supporting faster 45W charging. The Galaxy Z Flip7 will come with a slightly larger battery than its predecessor, increasing to 4,174mAh. Meanwhile, the Z Fold7 is expected to maintain the same 4,400mAh capacity as the current version. Both devices will be sold without chargers but will work with Samsung’s older EP-TA800 charger from the Galaxy S10 era. Samsung seems to be slow in adopting new battery technology that could allow for higher charging speeds. Models with battery capacities below 4,500mAh, like the upcoming Z Flip7 and Z Fold7, are not expected to support faster 45W charging. The Galaxy Z Flip7 and Z Fold7 are likely to be unveiled in July. There is also speculation about a Galaxy Z Flip FE model, which may be delayed until the new Exynos 2500 chipset is available.
