Gal Gadot on Wonder Woman Future: 'No Word From the Studios'

Gal Gadot revealed she has had no discussions with DC Studios or James Gunn about returning as Wonder Woman, three years after her last appearances in the role. She stated she received no updates since talks about a third film ended. In an interview with ScreenRant promoting her new Amazon Prime thriller "The Runner," Gadot said she had no "concrete conversations" with Gunn or the studios about reprising the role or playing another character. Her last significant talks occurred when they wanted to develop a third film, but she has heard nothing since. Gadot first played Diana Prince in 2016's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" and starred in two solo Wonder Woman films. She expressed gratitude for the opportunity and wished whoever is cast next an enjoyable journey with the character.
