Function Health partners with NBA to offer athletes access to over 100 health biomarkers

Function Health, co-founded by Dr. Mark Hyman, offers a new way for individuals to access their health data without needing a doctor's visit. Users can test over 100 biomarkers, receiving results and clinician notes within two to three weeks. Recently, Function became the exclusive biomarker partner of the National Basketball Players Association, aiming to provide athletes with health insights to improve recovery and reduce injury risks. This follows a previous partnership with Equinox Optimize, enhancing personalized coaching through extensive testing. Function costs $499 annually, providing a convenient option for those with chronic conditions to monitor their health. While it offers valuable insights, it is not a substitute for regular doctor visits and is not FDA-approved.
