Function Health partners with GRAIL to offer blood test for early cancer detection

Function Health has partnered with GRAIL to offer its members access to the Galleri test, which can detect over 50 types of cancer with a single blood draw. This test is part of Function Health's broader health services. The Galleri test analyzes DNA patterns to identify cancers before symptoms appear. While not FDA-approved, it can be ordered by doctors under existing regulations. It is intended to complement standard cancer screenings. Function Health, launched in 2023, has gained over 100,000 members and offers various lab tests. The company aims to integrate advanced cancer detection into routine health checkups.
