Fortnite update 34.20 reveals new content and fixes
Epic Games has shared early notes for the upcoming Fortnite update 34.20. This update will include various fixes and new content such as weapons, skins, and crossover items. The update is expected to launch alongside Fortnite OG Season 3, which is highly anticipated. The release coincides with the release of a new Dodge Ram Truck. One of the main fixes in this patch is how campfires operate. Once lit, campfires will take damage and eventually be destroyed. There are also improvements for harvestable plants, clarifying that a visual issue will not prevent players from gathering fully grown items. Other fixes address issues with the game interface. For instance, players on mobile will now see the PC chat UI when opening text chats. Additionally, certain characters will not display the correct number of stars unless they reach the maximum upgrade tier. In addition to these fixes, there have been leaks regarding new content. This includes the return of characters like OG Renegade Raider and new skins inspired by Mortal Kombat and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. New weapons and items are also part of the update. Some items will be unvaulted, including the Deagle and Pump Shotgun, while others, like the Rift Launcher and Explosive Mammoth Pistol, will not be available. Players can also expect changes in the item shop and new cosmetic options, including skins and emotes. The updates aim to enhance the overall gaming experience in Fortnite.
