Football star Quah Kim Song marries Workers' Party chairwoman Sylvia Lim
Former national footballer Quah Kim Song, 72, and Workers' Party chairwoman Sylvia Lim, 59, announced their marriage on January 4 via social media. They have been dating for nearly 12 years since meeting at a charity concert in 2013. Lim shared a black-and-white photo of the couple at St Mary of the Angels church, receiving over 3,000 likes and numerous congratulatory messages. The couple's wedding was previously announced in October 2024. Quah, known as "Quicksilver Quah," was a star striker in the 1970s, while Lim has been WP chairwoman since 2003. This is Lim's first marriage; Quah was previously married to Shirley Wang, who passed away in 2007.
