Foodies flock to funeral home for viral noodle dish
Foodies in China are visiting a funeral home in Guizhou to try a popular noodle dish served only to mourners. The Erlong Funeral Home's canteen has seen an influx of diners, some pretending to be mourners, after the dish went viral on social media. In response to the growing demand, Erlong Funeral Home will now offer 50 bowls of noodles daily to the public, provided they do not disturb actual mourners. The noodles, especially those topped with minced pork and peanuts, cost about 10 yuan ($1.38). The trend gained momentum after a social media post highlighted the dish's popularity. Many users have since shared their experiences, noting long queues for food at the funeral home.
