Fire in Pasig City kills one and injures two

A fire in Barangay Pinagbuhatan, Pasig City, early Sunday resulted in one death and two injuries. The blaze began at 3:47 a.m. and reached a second alarm before being extinguished after 6 a.m. Firefighters found the body of a 19-year-old man in the debris later that morning. The fire damaged around 30 houses, with losses estimated at P1 million. The cause of the fire is under investigation, according to the Bureau of Fire Protection.
