Fire damages ten businesses in Nueva Ecija old capitol compound
A fire in Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija, on Thursday night damaged ten establishments in the old capitol compound, causing an estimated P10 million in losses. The fire started at 11:31 p.m. and was extinguished by 1:31 a.m. Friday. Eight fire trucks and three ambulances responded to the scene. Affected establishments included the Language Skills Institute Office and the Boy Scouts of the Philippines—Nueva Ecija Chapter Office, among others. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire. No injuries have been reported.
