Fire at Westborough apartment complex displaces 100 families

A fire at the Arrive Apartments in Westborough on Monday displaced around 100 families. The Westborough Fire Department responded to the incident, which began on the seventh floor, causing heavy smoke and damage throughout the building. Firefighters assisted residents and managed smoke ventilation. One person was hospitalized, and another sustained a minor injury. The fire was caused by a faulty electrical appliance, resulting in an estimated $2 million in damages. All 466 registered tenants have been displaced. The American Red Cross and local officials are providing housing assistance to those affected.
