Filming begins for Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow as James Gunn shares first look
Filming has begun for DC's new film, Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, directed by Craig Gillespie. James Gunn shared a first look at Milly Alcock as Supergirl on Bluesky, confirming the start of production. The film is based on a graphic novel by Tom King and features a storyline about an alien girl seeking revenge with Supergirl's help. The cast includes Matthias Schoenaerts as the villain Krem and Eve Ridley as Ruthye. Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow follows James Gunn's upcoming Superman film and is part of a new DC universe. Other projects in development include The Batman Part II and a Clayface movie.
