Fatima Sana to captain Pakistan in World Cup Qualifiers

The Pakistan women's cricket team has announced its squad for the ICC Women's Cricket World Cup Qualifiers, happening from April 9 to 19 in Lahore. The tournament will feature six teams, including Bangladesh, Ireland, Scotland, Thailand, and West Indies, competing in matches at Gaddafi Stadium and LCCA ground. Pakistan's first match will be against Ireland on April 9. In another cricket update, the exhibition match between Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta Gladiators faces uncertainty. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) raised concerns about the Arbab Niaz Stadium's condition after an inspection uncovered issues with the pitch and facilities. This PSL exhibition match was intended to engage local fans before the PSL Season 10 kicks off on April 11. The tournament will see six teams play a total of 34 matches until May 18, with Lahore's Gaddafi Stadium hosting 13 of those games.
