Fans discover Boo's real name in Monsters, Inc. as Mary

Fans have discovered that Boo, the character from "Monsters, Inc.," is actually named Mary. This detail is revealed in a drawing Boo makes in the film, confirming her name is the same as the voice actress, Mary Gibbs. Mary Gibbs was just two years old when she voiced Boo, with many of her lines improvised. The production team reportedly chased her around the studio to capture her natural sounds for the character. While there has been no new "Monsters, Inc." film since 2013's "Monsters University," the series "Monsters At Work" premiered on Disney+ in 2021.
