Family prioritizes national duty during border tensions
A BSF jawan, Amit Kumar, was called to Delhi for national duty, leaving his father's funeral rituals unfinished, following the launch of "Operation Sindoor." Kumar, who was attending his father's last rites, was immediately summoned to Delhi on Friday night. His mother expressed pride in both her sons serving the nation, with the elder son, a retired captain, taking over the remaining funeral duties. The jawan's deployment comes amid escalating tensions, with "Operation Sindoor" launched on May 7th. His elder brother served in the Kargil War, and the family prioritizes national service.
