Family donates ₹1 crore to Anna Canteen, Andhra Pradesh

The family of Narne Ranga Rao, founder chairman of Andhra Pradesh Real Estate Developers, made a generous donation to the 'Anna Canteen' in his memory. They presented a cheque for ₹1 crore and one thousand sixteen to Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Sunday in Hyderabad. This act of charity was inspired by the earlier donation of ₹1 crore from Nara Bhuvaneswari when the government restarted the Anna Canteen. Narne Ranga Rao himself reminded his wife, Dr. Shantharao, of the importance of this donation just a day before he died. Along with Dr. Shantharao, their daughter Deepa and other family members joined in the effort. They expressed their dedication to the cause of providing affordable food—only ₹5—for the needy. In a post, Chief Minister Naidu praised Narne Ranga Rao for his notable contributions, especially in the real estate industry, and thanked his family for their generosity in supporting the community.
