Family adopts "needy" California cat after failed adoption

A California cat, Art, was returned to a shelter for being "too needy" but has since been adopted by a family better suited to his affectionate personality. The Pasadena Humane Society shared Art's story, noting his first adopter, an experienced cat owner, sought a calmer pet. Art, a seven-year-old cat, was described as rambunctious and prone to playful biting. Art had been at the shelter since January, following the Eaton Fire. The shelter, which serves the Greater Los Angeles Area, was happy to find him a new home after his story went viral.
