European survey finds Huawei, Poco, Oppo phones most reliable
Huawei, Poco, and Oppo are the most reliable mobile phone brands, according to a recent OCU survey of European consumers. This marks a shift, with Chinese brands leading in reliability. The OCU's survey, involving nearly 42,000 users, assessed device reliability based on reported breakdowns. Battery issues were the most common problem, followed by charger malfunctions, though the average phone lifespan is almost five years. The survey also examined other electronics, finding Loewe the most reliable TV brand and Apple leading in laptops and smartwatches. Battery problems were a common issue across devices, with the OCU recommending warranty claims for premature failures.
