ESEE president welcomes TIF measures but urges action on commerce demands

The head of the Hellenic Confederation of Commerce and Entrepreneurship (ESEE) stated that the government's Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF) announcements are positive for society and the economy. However, Stavros Kafounis noted that crucial demands from the commerce sector remain unaddressed, despite measures supporting families and the middle class. Kafounis highlighted the need for permanent abolition of imputed income taxation, reduced social security contributions, and better liquidity for businesses.
