Epic Games updates Fortnite progression system to allow simultaneous XP earning for multiple passes

eurogamer.net

Epic Games is updating Fortnite's progression system, allowing players to earn XP for multiple passes simultaneously, starting November 2. Currently, players can only level up the Festival and LEGO Passes by playing their specific modes. From November 2, all XP will contribute to the Battle Pass and the newly renamed Music Pass. The LEGO Pass will follow on December 1. Epic will eliminate Festival Points, Battle Stars, and Studs, simplifying the system to XP only. Players will still need to buy each pass separately for premium rewards, but Epic hints at an upcoming way to purchase all premium passes together. More details on this feature are expected soon.
