Engineer in DA case goes to judicial custody

An irrigation engineer, arrested on Wednesday in a disproportionate assets case, was remanded to judicial custody on Thursday. The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) is investigating. The engineer, N Sridhar, is accused of possessing assets far exceeding his known income, estimated at around Rs 60 crore in market value. Raids were conducted at his home and relatives' houses following a case registered on June 9. The ACB is examining Sridhar's assets, including properties, cash, and gold, while also investigating his family's financial activities, including a recent wedding in Thailand.
