Emily Compagno to co-host Fox News' 'The Five' starting Sept. 8
Fox News announced Monday that Emily Compagno will join "The Five" as a co-host starting Sept. 8, replacing Jeanine Pirro. The move shifts Compagno from "Outnumbered" to the network's top-rated cable news program. Compagno will appear daily alongside Greg Gutfeld, Dana Perino and Jesse Watters, with Jessica Tarlov and Harold Ford Jr. rotating in the liberal seat. Fox News Media CEO Suzanne Scott praised Compagno's accomplishments in a statement. "The Five" averaged 3.6 million viewers in the second quarter. Before joining Fox News in 2018, Compagno practiced criminal defense and civil litigation, and served as a federal managing attorney. She was also a cheerleading captain for the NFL's Raiders and authored a New York Times bestseller.
