Emily Compagno joins 'The Five' as full-time cohost

Fox News announced Monday that Emily Compagno will join "The Five" as a full-time cohost beginning Sept. 8, filling the seat left by Jeanine Pirro. Compagno will leave "Outnumbered," which she has cohosted since 2021. Compagno, 46, will join Greg Gutfeld, Dana Perino and Jesse Watters on the top-rated panel show. Harold Ford Jr. and Jessica Tarlov will continue rotating in the liberal seat. Pirro departed in May 2025 after President Donald Trump named her U.S. attorney for the District of Columbia. The show averaged 3.6 million viewers in the second quarter of 2026, marking its 19th consecutive quarter as cable news' most-watched program. Compagno, an attorney and former NFL cheerleader, joined Fox News as a contributor in 2018 and authored a 2024 New York Times bestseller.
