Embraer ends production of Lineage 1000 ultra-long-range business jet
Embraer has ended production of the Lineage 1000, an ultra-long-range business jet, as of August 2020. This aircraft, based on the Embraer 190 regional jet, was launched in 2006 and delivered only 28 units before its retirement. The Lineage 1000 features a spacious cabin divided into five sections, including a bedroom and bathroom. It is powered by two General Electric engines, allowing a range of 4,600 nautical miles and a cruise speed of 472 knots. Notable owners include celebrities like Travis Scott and Tyler Perry, as well as various charter companies. The Brazilian Air Force operates two Lineage 1000s, and the Pakistan Navy has ordered ten for surveillance missions.
