The Egyptian Red Crescent organized awareness seminars to educate the public on managing the health risks associated with rising temperatures, coinciding with World Heat Wave Day. The seminars, part of the STREAM project, targeted both Egyptian and non-Egyptian families. They aimed to increase awareness of proper responses to high temperatures and their health impacts, alongside first aid training. In May, the Red Crescent also conducted 90 first aid training courses, benefiting approximately 2,500 people, and provided training to various sectors, including businesses, schools, and government entities.
