Edmonton church relocates grand opening after fire

ca.news.yahoo.com

A new Edmonton church, RIG Global Edmonton, will have to find a new location for its grand opening after a fire damaged its planned building on Monday. The fire at the Murad Building, which also houses an antique store and pawnshop, forced the church to change its plans for the June 27-29 opening. Pastor Samuel Kanza confirmed the church has secured an alternate space and expects to announce the location soon. The church, affiliated with a Houston-based organization, is the first of its kind in Edmonton and Canada. The cause of the fire is still under investigation, but no injuries were reported.
