Ed Sheeran's greatest hits album tops U.K. charts for eighth time

Ed Sheeran's greatest hits compilation, '+–=÷× (Tour Collection)', has reached No. 1 on the U.K. Albums Chart. This marks his eighth No. 1 album in the U.K. The collection includes hits from his previous albums and songs from his 2019 collaboration project. Initially released in September 2024, the album peaked at No. 5 before gaining popularity during the holiday season, especially after its vinyl release. It has now topped the chart in the first week of 2025. In the top five, there was little change from the previous week. Sabrina Carpenter's 'Short n’ Sweet' is at No. 2, followed by SZA's 'SOS' at No. 3, Chappell Roan's 'The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess' at No. 4, and Charli XCX's 'Brat' at No. 5.
