E-scooter crash in Dublin leaves man seriously injured

A man in his 30s has been hospitalized with serious injuries after an e-scooter crash in north Dublin. The accident occurred around 10 a.m. on Friday on Tonlegee Road, at the junction with Tonlegee Avenue in Donaghmede. The man was traveling on an electric scooter when he collided with a car. Emergency services quickly arrived at the scene, and he was taken to Beaumont Hospital for treatment. There were no other injuries reported from the incident. Gardai are currently investigating the crash and are asking for witnesses to come forward. They are particularly interested in anyone who may have video footage of the incident. A Garda spokesperson encouraged road users with dash-cam footage to share it with the authorities.
