Duterte's arrest viewed as lawful by Kian's family

Randy delos Santos, uncle of Kian delos Santos, stated that former President Rodrigo Duterte's arrest was lawful and not harmful. He highlighted that Duterte had legal representation during the arrest, contrasting it with the treatment of families affected by the drug war. Delos Santos expressed hope that Duterte's arrest would lead to justice for victims of extrajudicial killings. He noted that families of these victims held Masses to commemorate what they view as a step toward justice. Duterte was arrested on March 11 at the airport upon returning from Hong Kong. He was served an International Criminal Court warrant for crimes against humanity related to his drug war policies.
