Duterte will accept arrest if ICC issues warrant

This campaign, which began in 2016, resulted in thousands of deaths. Duterte made these comments during a rally in Hong Kong, where he is currently staying. The Philippine presidential office noted they have not received any official communication from Interpol regarding an arrest warrant. Duterte previously withdrew the Philippines from the ICC in 2019 amid investigations into alleged extrajudicial killings. Recently, the Philippines has indicated a willingness to cooperate with the ICC investigation.
