Duterte arrested in Philippines for crimes against humanity

Former Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte has reportedly been arrested and taken to a police camp, according to his lawyer and some senators. They claim he was detained following an arrest warrant from the International Criminal Court for "crimes against humanity." Duterte recently returned from a trip to Hong Kong, where he met with the Filipino community. Local media reported that upon landing in Manila, authorities presented the arrest warrant issued by Interpol. Government doctors confirmed Duterte is in good health. Local police were equipped with body cameras during the arrest, and he is now at Camp Crame, the headquarters of the Philippine National Police.
