Duke wins despite Cooper Flagg's ankle injury

Duke defeated Georgia Tech 78-70 in the ACC tournament quarterfinal after freshman star Cooper Flagg left the game with an ankle injury. Flagg, who scored only two points, was taken for x-rays and ruled doubtful to return. Flagg injured his ankle while grabbing a rebound and needed assistance to leave the court. He later returned to the bench but did not play again. Duke coach Jon Scheyer confirmed Flagg suffered an ankle sprain, with negative x-rays. Duke struggled in the first half but improved significantly in the second, outscoring Georgia Tech 52-39. Kon Knueppel led Duke with 28 points. The Blue Devils will face the winner of Wake Forest and North Carolina in the semifinals.
