Dublin wins match, misses promotion in Division 1B

Dublin finished their Division 1B campaign with a strong win over Laois. However, the victory did not help them secure promotion. Waterford won their match against Offaly, earning the last promotion spot instead. In the first half, Dublin and Laois were closely matched. As the game went on, Dublin began to take control. They struggled with some missed shots early on but found their rhythm. Darragh Power scored a goal, helping Dublin to extend their lead. Laois managed to score a few points, but Dublin maintained a slight advantage at halftime. The second half saw Dublin pull further ahead. Ó Dúlaing scored first, followed by more points from O’Riain and Ronan Hayes. Laois’s PJ Scully tried to keep his team competitive, but Dublin scored consistently, including another goal from David Purcell.
