Dubai Future Foundation has announced that applications are now open for the Dubai Future Experts Programme (DEEP). This initiative is the first of its kind, led by the government to develop a certified network of foresight experts in key sectors of Dubai's government. The programme was launched under the guidance of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai. Its goal is to empower Emirati professionals in government and semi-government roles with the skills needed to foresee and shape the future of Dubai. Abdulaziz Al Jaziri, Deputy CEO of DFF, emphasized the programme's importance. He stated that it equips Emirati leaders with the tools to anticipate changes and create proactive strategies. This will help transform governance and maintain Dubai’s leadership in global policymaking. DEEP offers a structured learning experience. The first level, "Certified Foresight Practitioner," runs from May to June 2025 and focuses on practical training in foresight methodologies and future scenario development. The second level, "Certified Foresight Ambassador," takes place from September to October 2025 and is project-based. Participants will work on addressing significant future challenges or opportunities in their sectors. The programme includes expert-led training, case studies, and interactive discussions. Participants will receive a certification in strategic foresight and gain access to a global foresight network, as well as DFF events. Applications are open until April 17. Eligible Emirati professionals can apply online, and Dubai government entities can nominate employees via email.
