Dolby Vision support significantly enhances picture quality on OLED TVs, offering superior contrast and richer colors compared to standard HDR10. Testing two comparable OLED models, one with Dolby Vision and one without, revealed that Dolby Vision's dynamic metadata optimizes brightness and color scene-by-scene. While Samsung's HDR10 processing can compensate, Dolby Vision consistently delivered a more impactful and detailed viewing experience, especially with 4K Blu-ray content.
