Dog's illness diverted Detroit to LA Delta flight

A Delta flight from Detroit to Los Angeles was diverted to Minneapolis due to a dog becoming ill mid-flight, causing a delay. The flight, carrying 181 passengers and six crew members, was rerouted after the crew was alerted to the dog's condition. A veterinarian onboard assisted, but the plane landed in Minneapolis to allow the pet and owner to disembark. The incident delayed the flight by approximately two and a half hours, and the plane eventually arrived in Los Angeles. This follows a separate incident where pigeons caused delays on another Delta flight.
