Dispute over Duterte's chartered flight from Manila

Manila, Philippines – A dispute arose between Criminal Investigation and Detection Group Director Maj. Gen. Nicolas Torre III and Rodrigo Duterte's camp over plans for a chartered flight to take the former president from Villamor Airbase. Torre suggested two options for the departure: an easy way with selected companions or a harder approach. Duterte's camp insisted on following proper procedures. Duterte was arrested at Ninoy Aquino International Airport earlier today under a warrant from the International Criminal Court for alleged crimes against humanity related to his drug war.
