Disney surveys fans on potential Simpsons attractions for theme parks

Disney is surveying fans about the possibility of adding Simpsons-themed attractions and characters to its parks. This comes after Disney acquired the Simpsons in 2019 as part of its purchase of 21st Century Fox. Currently, Universal Studios holds exclusive rights to Simpsons attractions in its U.S. parks until 2028. This means any new Simpsons-themed areas at Disney parks would not be possible until after that contract expires. Previously, the only interaction fans had with Simpsons characters at Disney was during a meet-and-greet event at the D23 Expo in 2019.
