Direction9 introduces T9-based keyboard to enhance TV typing experience at CES 2025

At CES 2025, Direction9 unveiled a new T9-based software keyboard designed to improve typing on TVs. The keyboard features a three-by-three grid, allowing users to select letters quickly with a remote. The system includes a "smart" mode that predicts words based on user input. Users can also type manually by selecting letters from a pop-up array. Additional keys like Enter and Space are easily accessible around the grid. Direction9 is currently in discussions to integrate its keyboard into streaming apps and smart TVs. However, the product is not yet available for consumers.
