DF Legal removed 17 illegal outdoor advertisements on a commercial avenue today, April 8th. The action aims to enforce regulations on advertising structures in the Federal District. Companies had been notified last November and given a deadline to comply. This removal operation marks the 12th such action in 2025. This exceeds the total of nine removals conducted throughout 2024. Inspections in 2025 have involved 227 actions, resulting in 36 notices and 13 fines. The standard procedure involves notification and a compliance period. Failure to comply leads to fines based on size. Advertisements in unlicensed areas, like the current case, are removed immediately.
