Delhi-Gurugram Expressway will close for two days

timesnownews.com

The Delhi-Gurugram Expressway will face traffic diversions on March 26 and 27. This is due to the construction of a foot overbridge (FOB) at Narsingpur. The work will take place from noon to 6 AM, closing the affected stretch of NH-48. Commuters should expect heavy traffic during these days. Vehicles going to Jaipur from Delhi will need to take alternative routes. They should turn left at Hero Honda Chowk, right at Subhash Chowk, and then right at Vatika Chowk. From there, they can continue on NH-8 using SPR-Dwarka Road. Drivers coming to Delhi from Jaipur should also be aware of the detours. They will need to pass Kherki Daula toll plaza and take the Dwarka Expressway. Once on NH-48, they can make a U-turn at Elan Chowk, travel through SPR, and turn left at Vatika Chowk. The new foot overbridge will be 110 feet long and cost Rs 1.6 crore. It will enhance safety for residents crossing the busy expressway. Local resident Sunil Yadav noted the area is populated, and without the FOB, people often risk their lives by climbing over the expressway's barriers. The new structure aims to reduce accidents and improve connections within the village.
