Defense forces excel at Lahaul Snow Marathon

Defence forces showcased their strength in the fourth Lahaul Snow Marathon, held in Sissu, Himachal Pradesh. The event took place on Sunday and included various race categories. Naik Het Ram from the Indian Army's Dogra Regiment won the full marathon, finishing the 42km race in 4 hours and 15 minutes. Tamchor from the Ladakh Scouts came in second, while O P Saran from the Indian Air Force took third place. In the women's full marathon, reigning champion Tenzin Dolma defended her title, completing the race in 4 hours and 46 minutes. The 21km half marathon saw Nangdan win in the men’s category, with Namgyal and Ravikant finishing second and third, respectively. Natasha Mehar won in the women’s half marathon. In the 10km race, Stmazin finished first, followed by Rohit and Saurabh in second and third places. Nidhi Jha was the winner of the women’s 10km category.
