He is also recognized for his charitable work, raising over $230,000 for food banks. Myles has a background in political science and has interned in the Ontario legislature. The Liberal Party has faced challenges in this riding since incumbent MP Jenica Atwin announced she would not seek reelection. Atwin had previously switched from the Green Party to the Liberals, and her departure has raised concerns about the party's chances. Polling had shown the Conservatives ahead by significant margins. Sullivan, who is also in the race, has experience in education and community involvement. He has been active in promoting New Brunswick as a study destination and has started a local ice cream business. The Liberal nomination process is still uncertain, with no date set for a convention.
