Daniel Jones has signed a one-year contract worth $14 million with the Indianapolis Colts, according to a source. The deal could reach $17.7 million based on performance. Jones, previously with the New York Giants, will compete with Anthony Richardson for the starting quarterback position. Richardson was drafted fourth overall in 2023. Jones had a record of 24-44-1 with the Giants and spent last season as a backup for the Minnesota Vikings. The Vikings are expected to start J.J. McCarthy, while Sam Darnold has signed with Seattle.
