CycloTech unveils BlackBird flying taxi with innovative propulsion system

CycloTech, an Austrian company, has introduced plans for a new flying taxi called "BlackBird." This aircraft features a unique propulsion system called the CycloRotor, which allows for enhanced maneuverability and controlled descents, even in bad weather. The CycloRotor uses a circular rotor with small blades, enabling the aircraft to change speed and direction easily. This design differs from traditional propeller systems used in other flying vehicles, improving passenger comfort and safety. Currently, the BlackBird can carry up to 750 pounds and fly at speeds of 73 mph. CycloTech plans to test a full-size version of the aircraft in early 2025.
