Cuyahoga County voters brave long lines to cast early ballots for 2024 election
Hundreds of voters waited about 45 minutes in line at the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections on Halloween to cast their ballots for the 2024 election. Early voting continues through Sunday, with over 168,000 votes already cast in the county. As of Thursday, more than 2 million Ohioans have voted early, with a significant number opting for in-person voting. Many voters expressed concerns about mail-in ballots and wanted to ensure their votes were counted. In-person early voting hours will change over the weekend, and there will be no early voting on the Monday before Election Day. Polls will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Election Day.
